nnDay Training is an 8-day program over two consecutive weeks, four days a week, providing a balance of training, enrichment, and social time. Dogs are dropped off in the morning and picked up in the evening. Owners receive daily video updates and a private lesson at the end of each week. Single day options are also available. Dogs must be at least 5 months old, comfortable in a crate, and not a serious aggression case.
nnDowntown Dog Enrichment offers a different approach to doggy daycare, focusing on mental, physical, and emotional fulfillment with a low dog-to-staff ratio (35 dogs to 4-6 professionals). Activities include agility, scent work, skateboarding, foraging, structured tug, walking, balance boards/balls, and tricks. New dogs require a trial day before purchasing packages or memberships. Enrichment is open Monday-Friday.
nnLeash Connections is a free workshop designed to help owners with leash walking challenges. It focuses on discussion and hands-on practice for owners without their dogs, addressing common scenarios like barking at passing dogs, excessive pulling, and refusing to walk.
nnPrivate Lessons are 90-minute one-on-one sessions with Brad, held at their facility or at the client’s home in Greensboro for an additional fee. These lessons are tailored to address specific challenges like leash pulling, reactivity, barking, separation anxiety, jumping, recall, and hyperactivity.
nnPuppy Group Class is held every Thursday evening for puppies aged 12 to 20 weeks. The class emphasizes community and safe socialization, with rotating training topics such as socialization, problem behaviors, recall, place command, and structured leash walking. Pups need to be at least 12 weeks old and have specific vaccinations (Bordatella, second DA2PP, de-worming).

Pricing Summary

Day Training: An 8-day program costs $1,480. Single day training is available for $200.
Downtown Dog Enrichment: A trial day for new dogs costs $60. Monthly membership is $240, which includes weekly attendance on the same day, free attendance to monthly Leash Connections class, discounts on other training programs and merchandise, and exclusive members-only events. Additional drop-in days for members are $55. Non-members can attend on a drop-in basis for $75 per day (subject to availability) or purchase packages: 3-day package for $215, 5-day package for $350, and 8-day package for $550. Packages must be used within 3 months.
Private Lessons: A 90-minute session at the Red Beard training facility costs $200. In-home lessons for Greensboro residents are available for an additional fee.
Puppy Group Class: $425 covers attendance from 12-20 weeks old, prorated if the pup starts later.
Leash Connections: Tickets are free.

Policies

All dogs enrolled in board and train programs require a non-refundable $500 deposit to secure the training start date. All dogs must be up-to-date on vaccines before attending any training. For Downtown Dog Enrichment, packages must be used within 3 months of purchase date. Monthly memberships can be canceled anytime. The trainer reserves the right to terminate the agreement at any time and fully refund money without further liability.

How to Get Started!

For Day Training, clients need to complete a day training agreement, and Red Beard Dog Training will respond with availability. For Downtown Dog Enrichment, all new dogs must come for a trial day before a package or membership can be purchased; an Enrichment Application form is available online. For Private Lessons, clients should fill out an online form, and the business will reach out via email to schedule the lesson.
