Red Hot Heelers offers Private Lessons, Puppy Services, and Residency Programs. Private lessons are one-on-one, 60-minute sessions where owners learn to train their dog for obedience and behavior correction. A slip collar is included, and consistent home practice is required.
Puppy Services include a one-hour, one-on-one puppy consult covering potty training, crate training, socialization, fear responses, aggression, and basic obedience, with hands-on techniques from the trainer.
Residency Programs are board-and-train options where the dog stays at the facility for intensive training, followed by owner training and included follow-up lessons. An evaluation is required to determine the best fit, considering reactivity and past training.
Residency options include Intermediate On-Leash (5 days, 2 follow-ups) for basic manners and commands like Heel, Auto sit, Down, Sit. Advanced On-Leash (10 days, 3 follow-ups) adds Leave it, Drop, Come. Premium On-Leash (15 days, 4 follow-ups) covers the same commands with more duration.
The Puppy Jumpstart Residency (15 days, 4 follow-ups) focuses on puppy basics like crate and potty training, name recognition, loose leash walking, manners, Sit, Down, and Come. The Off Leash Residency (20 days, 4 follow-ups) includes an Ecollar and teaches on-leash and off-leash manners, including Place and Recall.
Behavioral Modification (at least 30 days, 4 follow-ups) addresses aggression, reactivity, resource guarding, and anxiety, teaching advanced obedience commands and potentially off-leash skills.

Testimonials
“I would highly recommend Red Hot Heelers Dog Training for all your dog needs! Molly was so helpful with my puppy Henri and teaching him how to walk on a leash properly and basic obedience commands. I could already tell a difference after the first lesson!”
-Taylor M.
“Molly is worth every penny and I can’t recommend her enough! We live in Colorado and did 3 virtual training sessions to address dog reactivity and anxiety. We’ve seen 3 trainers out here and didn’t have any luck (many had a too ‘alpha’ approach or other approaches that we didn’t feel provided proper structure for our dog). Molly provided so much information and guidance to help our girl, Scout. We went from avoiding neighborhood walks, crossing the street when other dogs were near, and taking walks in early or late hours of the day to avoid other pups, to now being able to walk through the neighborhood with only 6 feet between her and other pups we pass, while walking whenever we want & not reacting toward other dogs. We even had several relaxed and playful interactions with other dogs for the first time in over a year. Molly also helped us understand how to work on Scout’s anxiety and fears. We also have been finally able to walk our dog without her pulling super hard on the leash – she doesn’t pull at all now Wish we lived closer but highly recommend to anyone that is looking for a dog trainer in the Columbus area! Pic of our girl on her first hike after a few sessions with Molly where she didn’t pull or react. Never thought we’d see the day but we have Molly to thank for all her tremendous help!”

About the Trainer
Red Hot Heelers Dog Training LLC is a dog training business led by Head Trainer Molly Miller, who was inspired to change careers after adopting her Red Heeler mix, Bear. Molly and her dog Dex graduated from National K9’s School for Dog Trainers, which solidified her passion for dog training.
The business offers Private Lessons, Puppy Services, and Residency (board and train) programs. They focus on providing one-on-one training tailored to each dog’s personality and the family’s goals, teaching owners how to train for obedience commands and handle unwanted behaviors.
A unique advantage is Molly’s personal experience with her dog, Dex, who overcame severe dog reactivity through extensive training and persistence. Dex and Savage, Molly’s personal Heelers, serve as demonstration dogs in lessons and residencies, showcasing the effectiveness of their training methods. Red Hot Heelers aims to be a comprehensive source for quality pet training, working closely with owners to ensure training plans fit their lifestyle.
