Testimonials
“The team at Rescue, Train & Repeat have played an integral part in our experience as first-time dog owners and we couldn’t have done it without them. Our training sessions with Andrew, as well as all his advice and guidance, have helped our pup Ollie flourish into a confident, secure, happy, well-behaved dog. We feel confident that we have been able to set Ollie up for success. In addition to all the experience, Andrew and Ken are simply wonderful people who are always a pleasure to be around.”
– Gayatri & Akeel
“I would 10/10 recommend working with Rescue Train Repeat! I recently rescued a two-year-old dog with a traumatic history and a fearful personality. Andrew’s unwavering support, training philosophy, and practical tools have helped me navigate this journey with patience and positivity – not to mention his deep love for animals is palpable, and he is a joy to spend an afternoon with!”
– Ellie
“Our lovable Jindo mix, Heart, was adopted from Korean K9 Rescue… Andrew was very adaptive to Heart’s needs and taught us how to communicate with her through eye contact, gestures, and leashes/collars while on our walks. Heart has been with us for over three months and we have already seen tremendous improvement with her behaviors, her confidence in walking, and how comfortable we are with each other.”
– Jenna & Hala
About the Trainer
Rescue Train Repeat is a dog training business based in New York City, specializing in trauma-informed, positive reinforcement training for rescue dogs, particularly Jindos and Korean Village Dogs. Led by Andrew Solis, a professional dog trainer and behaviorist, the business offers private sessions, group classes, pack walks, and board-and-train bootcamps tailored to dogs with anxiety, fearfulness, reactivity, and behavioral challenges. They focus on building confidence, improving leash manners, and helping dogs adjust to urban life. Andrew works holistically, addressing nutrition and wellness alongside behavior, and uses a compassionate, individualized approach. In addition to training, they offer in-home dog sitting, walking, and hiking trips exclusively for clients. Their community-focused programs include free monthly pack walks and morning flow walks, fostering socialization and connection among dogs and owners.
