Training is delivered through one-on-one, in-home private sessions customized to the dog’s needs and the owner’s goals. Sessions focus on behavior modification and foundational obedience, with adjustments made for each dog’s progress and temperament. No group classes or intensive programs are currently offered.

Pricing Summary

Initial assessment costs $50. Private sessions are $75 per 1-hour session. A package of 6 sessions is available for $450. Pricing is based on in-home training only.

At Riot Dog Training, owner and head trainer Charlie Tabor offers personalized, in-home private training sessions focused on positive reinforcement methods. Charlie helps dog owners build strong, fun, and functional relationships with their dogs by addressing goals like house manners, obedience, leash walking, reactivity reduction, and trick training. Each session is tailored to the individual dog and owner, emphasizing teamwork and practical results. Charlie began training with his cat, then transitioned to dogs, gaining experience at Petsense and completing an internship with Christina Grubofski of Digging it Professional Dog Training. He trains dogs of all ages, from puppies to adults with moderate behavioral issues, using his demo dog Phoenix as part of his learning and demonstration process.

Charlie currently offers only private sessions and is building his client base with a focus on hands-on, real-world training. He plans to expand services as his business grows, but currently does not offer group classes, board and train, or facility-based training.

Accomplishments

Charlie Tabor completed an internship in early 2024 with Christina Grubofski of Digging it Professional Dog Training. He previously worked as a trainer at Petsense and has trained dogs with fear and reactivity issues. He uses his personal dog, Phoenix, as a demo dog during training.

How to Get Started!

Clients begin with a $50 initial assessment, followed by scheduling private training sessions. Sessions can be booked individually or in a package of six for $450 via the provided booking link.
