The trainer, Bethany Jordan, is a Certified Veterinary Technician with over 20 years of experience. She prides herself in challenging her knowledge base, learning the science behind why dogs do what they do, and considers learning theory her specialty. She particularly enjoys helping fearful and aggressive dogs.

Rocket Science Training School believes in providing background knowledge to humans prior to performing a task, with all curriculums having a foundation in the science of associative learning. Their group classes are shorter, aiming to provide tools, knowledge, and skills to handle any situation, with the goal that clients may never need another session again after completing a program. They also offer pet boarding and shuttle services, including emergency planning for pet care.

Accomplishments

Bethany Jordan is a Certified Veterinary Technician with over 20 years of experience. Her experience includes working as a Certified Veterinary Technician in general practice, private referral, emergency, and collegiate environments. She served as a medical director at a no-kill animal shelter and was a faculty member of an online behavior college.

Bethany assisted in the education of Veterinary students at both the University of Florida and University of Georgia Colleges of Veterinary Medicine. She is the founder of the FEATS prison dog training program and has lectured at nationally recognized conferences such as NAVC, UF, and UGA. She earned her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida and continued her education in Veterinary medicine, and behavioral psychology/associative learning. She holds certifications as MS, CVT, CDT, CPDT-KA, and SVBT.
