RTN Dog Training and Boarding

Basic Obedience is a 6-week, one-on-one training program conducted at their Auburn facility, where clients learn side-by-side with a professional trainer once a week. Day Training is a 7-week basic dog obedience program where pups are dropped off for structured daycare twice a week, including training and socialization. At the end of each day, a professional trainer reviews the learned material with the owner for home practice.

The Board and Train Program is a minimum 4-week intensive program, with the length determined by evaluation based on the dog and training goals. Dogs are kenneled on and off throughout the day at their 8,000 sq ft facility, receiving a mixture of obedience training, socialization, and play. Upon completion, a 2-hour go-home session and two follow-up in-home visits are included. Custom Training offers individual one-on-one sessions at $125 per hour to address specific training topics, and custom training packages can be built.

Structured Daycare is designed for pups needing guidance during off-leash play, featuring small group play (max 10 dogs) for more one-on-one attention and tailored playmates. Dogs receive frequent breaks with enrichment options, with a typical play day consisting of 2 hours of play to 1 hour of rest. All-Inclusive Overnight Boarding provides comfortable, climate-controlled accommodations, custom feeding schedules, medication administration, and 24/7 staff supervision. All dog-friendly dogs are included in structured daycare; non-dog-friendly dogs receive one-on-one staff time and outdoor run access.

Pricing Summary

Basic Obedience is a 6-week program for $600. Day Training is $800 for 7 weeks, including twice-weekly structured daycare. Board and Train programs start at a minimum of 4 weeks at $800 per week, with the total length determined by evaluation. Custom Training sessions are available at $125 per hour, and custom packages can be built. Payment plans are offered.

Structured Daycare prices vary by package: Full Day (5+ hours) is $25 for a single day, with packages ranging from $24/day (5-day) to $20/day (30-day). Half Day (5 hours or less) is $17 for a single day, with packages from $16/day (5-day) to $12/day (30-day). Overnight Boarding is $45 per night for the first dog and $40 per night for additional dogs from the same household. A late pick-up fee of $15 applies after 11 AM for boarding.

Accomplishments

Troy and Jenn, the founders, are disabled Veterans with over 12 years of experience working with dogs in military communities. Their head trainer is Animal Behavior College (ABC) Certified and an ABC mentor trainer. They are certified as CGC Evaluators, AKC Fit Dog Instructors, and AKC Trick Dog certified. Jenn and Puncs are also AK9I Scent detection certified. RTN Dog Training and Boarding is an authorized brick-and-mortar distributor for Impact Crates.

How to Get Started!

Clients can schedule a free evaluation to discuss training goals or make pet service appointments. To begin, clients need to set up a profile and register their dog in their booking software, Paw Partner. Once registered and vaccines are uploaded, an evaluation can be scheduled. Special requests can be made by sending a message or calling.
