About the Trainer
RuffLife K9 is a dog training and nutrition business founded in 2018 by Shilee, who has a deep passion for animals. Her journey into dog training was inspired by her own rescue dog, Koda, who suffered from behavioral issues. Shilee’s background includes training horses and competing in rodeo, which fostered her ability to build relationships with animals.
RuffLife K9 operates on the belief that every pet is unique and requires specialized, individualized training. They focus on teaching owners how to effectively communicate with their dogs, using fun, play, and relationship-based techniques. The business addresses a range of needs, from basic manners to more complex behavioral issues.
In addition to dog training, RuffLife K9 also provides structured dog daycare and boarding services, ensuring dogs are happy and comfortable. They are noted as the first certified Training Without Conflict (TWC) trainer in the Panhandle area.
