San Diego Dog Training

After adopting our smart (but very stubborn) cattle dog mix, we quickly realized he was in desperate need of training and discipline. That’s when we found Daniel and Tori, and we truly couldn’t be more grateful.

Our dog stayed with Daniel for a two-week training program, surrounded by other dogs in a structured, positive environment. When he came back home, the difference was night and day — he listens to commands, walks beautifully on a leash, and is clearly more balanced and confident.

This experience was not only effective but fun and educational for us as owners, too. Daniel and Tori are not just skilled trainers — they’re passionate, genuine, and incredibly supportive people.

We are beyond happy with the results and feel so much more confident as dog owners now. If we could give them 10 stars, we would.

Daniel and Tori were unbelievable with our boy Zoro! Zoro had some resource guarding issues, reactiveness around other dogs, and extreme anxiety.

He was very skittish, whether that be a garbage truck making a loud noise, construction noises, or kids and other dogs passing by, he would lock into a state of panic and everything we tried help him get out of it in that moment wouldn’t work. It made not just walks difficult, but his overall quality of life as he was always nervous and on edge leaving the house.

Daniel and Tori went above and beyond with Zoro, even keeping him for over the 2 weeks of no charge to ensure Zoro has worked through his issues and comes out on the other side with the best quality of life possible. When we got Zoro back, it was like night and day! He was confident on walks and so focused. He can be out and about with lots of stimuli and not go into a state of panic. He is calm and an overall happier dog because of it. They also helped solve his resource guarding problem and when asked Zoro immediately drops or walks away from whatever he shouldn’t. Starting from Zoro having been aggressive with family members when resource guarding, to having him now be so well behaved and listen to the boundaries set in place, is a massive relief for us.

Daniel and Tori are amazing! I highly recommend them if you want your dog to listen to commands and behave better overall. We had a trainer who came to our house for sessions and that didn’t work. This is way different. We lost two of our three dogs over about a year and a half span. We adopted our Terrier/Jack/Corgi mix about a year ago and he is the sweetest dog in the world he just had crazy pup energy and we had a hard time getting him to respond to commands. We could get him to do a basic few but overall he wasn’t responding. He was never angry or aggressive, mainly just anxiety. He didn’t know how to interact with other dogs or humans. Daniel and Tori returned him after 2 weeks of board training and it is like night and day. He walks at my pace and isn’t pulling or stopping to sniff everything. He stops at corners on command and waits for the go. I let him in the door with our friend’s daughter down the hall and he didn’t bark at her and run up in her space like he did before. Nugget sits, lays down and stays on command etc. It’s amazing! We have to continue the training to keep him on track so it becomes clockwork but they also provided a laminated cheat sheet! I highly, highly recommend Daniel and Tori!!!
