San Diego Pet Training

Group classes include Basic Obedience, Puppy Training, Agility, Leash Pulling Intensive, Trick Training, and Intermediate Obedience, each lasting 4 weeks with weekly sessions. Classes begin with 20 minutes of off-leash socialization followed by 40 minutes of instruction. Board & Train programs are intensive, in-residence training lasting up to two weeks, with daily video updates for owners. Private training is tailored to individual needs and conducted in-home. Online courses supplement in-person training with access to Rob Kuty’s curriculum.

Pricing Summary

Group classes cost $180–$200 for a 4-week course. Private sessions and board & train programs are available upon request with customized pricing. The Leash Pulling Intensive is a one-time $160 session. Online courses are included with class enrollment. Training tools are provided in some packages.

Policies

Dogs must be social with other dogs to participate in group classes. Young children are not permitted in or near the training field. Clients must disclose all medical and behavioral conditions before enrollment. Late arrivals miss the mandatory socialization portion. Board & train clients receive daily updates via video and photo.

Rob Kuty is a Certified Master Dog Trainer with a BA in Psychology, former manager of the “Pet’s Rule” show at SeaWorld San Diego, and director of animal training at Helen Woodward Animal Center. He has trained dogs for TV and film, including appearances with Gene Wilder and Diane Keaton, and has been featured on the Tonight Show, Animal Planet, and the Puppy Bowl. He is certified by the AKC for Canine Good Citizen testing and mentored students at the Animal Behavior College.
