Cathy Dutra has over 20 years of training experience and is an AKC Obedience and Rally Judge. Melodie Farrell is an AKC Canine Good Citizen Evaluator and is certified in Pet First Aid. Amanda Gardner has been training and showing competitively since 2004, earning numerous titles across various dog sports, and is pursuing becoming an AKC Obedience and Rally judge. Denise Gormish has 20 years of experience, having titled dogs in obedience, rally, tracking, agility, and nose work. Marian Pott has over 25 years of competitive training experience and serves as an AKC and AHBA herding judge. Harriet Tucker has been competing with her Brittanys in Obedience since 1996 and Rally since its inception, teaching for multiple obedience clubs.

How to Get Started!

To register for classes, clients can use the online registration system or mail in a registration form. On the first night of class, clients should arrive a few minutes early for check-in and must bring proof of current vaccinations or titers, along with a current rabies certificate. Vaccination proof can also be emailed to smdtci@gmail.com, specifying the dog’s enrolled class.

For phone consultations, clients can call a trainer to discuss their specific needs, training goals, or areas of concern.
