Dog Training Methodology
Methods:
- ✓ Positive Reinforcement Only
Scooter Dog Training offers three main program types: In-Home Dog Training, Daily Dog Training, and Group Classes. In-home training involves weekly or biweekly lessons where owners learn to train their dogs, with customized plans. Daily training is an intensive 2-week program where trainers handle the primary training, and owners learn handling techniques periodically. Board training is also available through a partnership with Savy Paws Pet Resort. Group classes are held in Holly Springs and Canton, covering beginner and intermediate obedience, including preparation for the Canine Good Citizen test. All programs typically cover commands such as sit, stay, down, come, walk (no pulling), watch, wait, emergency come, leave it, off (no jumping), and place, along with addressing household manners and complex behavior problems like aggression and separation anxiety.
