Seattle FlyDogs Club offers flyball lessons from September through May, primarily on Sundays from 4:30 PM to 5:30 PM. Classes are held at two rotating indoor locations in Woodinville.

New students can start with a “Try It Class” for $25. Following this, ongoing lessons are available in 4-lesson packs for $120. The curriculum progresses through several award levels: ReadyDog (Try It Class), MightyDog (Level 1), HotDog (Level 2), SuperDog (Level 3), and culminates in FlyDog Graduation.

Graduation to FlyDog signifies that a dog and handler team can safely perform key flyball actions, such as passing other dogs off-leash, triggering the box, retrieving the ball, and running over all 8 hurdles. It also requires consistent club participation, a positive training approach, and a willingness to contribute to the club’s community spirit. Additionally, the club offers 4-hour Flyball Workshops.

Pricing & Policies

Pricing Summary

The “Try It Class” is $25. Ongoing lessons are offered in 4-lesson packs for $120. Information on team dues and workshop pricing is not explicitly provided.

Policies

Dogs must be at least 10 months old, have a current Rabies Vaccination, and possess basic obedience skills (come, sit, leave it, stay/wait). Dogs must be friendly and comfortable around other dogs both on and off leash, with no aggressive reactions.

Handlers are required to sign a liability waiver and are expected to be positive, respectful, and align with the club’s mission and values. The club does not tolerate disrespect or racism of any kind, and such behavior will result in dismissal without refund. Prohibited equipment includes retractable leashes, prong collars, training collars, and e-collars. Aggressive behavior from a dog will lead to the end of practice for the team. The club is “for fun” and not primarily for competitive focus.
