It also addresses common puppy issues such as mouthing, chewing, jumping, barking, crating, potty training, and proper socialization.
The Manners Training package, for dogs over 4 months old, consists of 4 one-hour sessions focusing on basic manners like attention, sit, down, come, crate training, stay, leave it, and walking on leash. This package is not designed for behavior problems like aggression or resource guarding.
The Loose Leash Walking Package, also 4 one-hour sessions, helps dogs and owners learn to walk together, emphasizing attention, rewarding loose leash behavior, and handling minor distractions. This package is not suitable for leash-reactive dogs.
Behavior Consultations are offered on a case-by-case basis for dogs of all ages, addressing issues such as aggressive behavior, resource guarding, fear-based behaviors, and leash reactivity. The initial consultation involves assessment, goal setting, and developing an action plan, with follow-up sessions recommended as needed. All 4-session packages are designed to provide a strong start, with additional sessions often recommended based on individual needs.

Testimonials
“We were really happy with our sessions with Karen. She helped us to learn a lot about our dog and what motivates him to be his “best self”:)We would definitely recommend friends to Secret Lake Dog Training. Karen had a very special way with our very anxious puppy… She was awesome. She listened to us, she gave advice from personal experiences (of which she has many), and she was good with our people – young and old!”

“Great training session this morning. So appreciate you helping us with ways to break Mae’s bad habit of jumping on us, others, and the counter. The advice for Quinn will also help us help him. We all so value your approach and help with the training!! You are the best–that’s why we have continued to seek your advice over years!!”
