Dog Training Methodology
SD4SM offers three distinct programs for Veterans:
The “Veterans 4 Veterans” program provides quality, affordable, self-funded training for a Veteran’s own dog to become a Service Dog. This program is not free, and the self-funded contributions help SD4SM provide financial assistance to other Veterans who cannot afford training.
The “Doyle Dogs Program” is a 6-month program offering partial scholarships to Veterans who wish to train their own dogs for certification. Training is conducted one-on-one with SD4SM’s President and Director of Training.
The “Hero Project” exclusively trains rescued or donated dogs as Service Dogs for Veterans. This program is notable for using unusual breeds, such as Greyhounds, and specializes in PTSD Support and Mobility Assistance.

Testimonials
“Daniel you have done an amazing job and I was proud to have Hero with me so behaved and doing his tasks of creating space between me and other people and standing behind me watching my back. He did great, also lead me through a crowd at a faster pace. I think he sensed the anxiety! A great weekend for Hero and I to work together and bond!”
