Dog Training Methodology
Seven Acres offers several training programs. The Perfect Puppy Program is a 15-21 day board & train designed to prepare new puppies for family life, covering puppy selection counseling, obedience, outside manners, socialization, house manners, handling, and includes frequent updates and one exit lesson.
The Board & Train Program is a 3-week intensive program where dogs stay at Seven Acres to establish new behavioral expectations and habits. It addresses behavior issues, essential manners, socialization, and exercise, providing daily training sessions, overnight care, supervised exercise, daily updates, field trips, and weekly exit lessons.
Individual Lessons are 60-minute sessions tailored for dogs needing to refine manners and obedience. These sessions can be conducted in-home or on-site at Seven Acres and include a detailed training plan and 30 days of unlimited phone and email support.
The Behavior Modification program begins with a consultation and is customized to address serious behavior problems such as aggression, possessiveness, anxiety & fears/phobias, and house soiling. Each session is 60 minutes and includes a behavior management plan, one-on-one training support, and 30 days of unlimited phone and email support.
Pricing & Policies
Pricing Summary
Behavior Modification and Individual Lessons are $175 per 60-minute session. The Board & Train program costs $875 per week for a 3-week duration, running Monday through Friday, with additional fees for weekend boarding. The Perfect Puppy Program is $155 per day for a 15-21 day (3-week) board and train program, running Monday through Friday. Overnight Care is $75 per night. Car service is $45 each way per dog, and spa services pricing is available upon request. The Perfect Puppy Program does not include out-of-pocket expenses such as puppy cost, travel, health costs, or vaccinations.

Accomplishments
Bradley Phifer, the owner, is a dog trainer and behavior consultant with 17 years of experience. He is certified as a CBCC-KA and CCPDT-KSA by the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers (CCPDT), where he also serves as their Executive Director.
Kerrigan Tresslar and Makayla Dunn-Collins are both CCPDT-certified trainers. All trainers at Seven Acres are either certified by the CCPDT or are actively working toward their certification, demonstrating a commitment to continuing education and professional development in humane, science-based dog training practices.
