Seven Valley Pet Services offers in-home consultations for behavior problems. These consultations provide professional help to find practical solutions, offering clear guidance, answering questions, and providing tools to immediately improve a dog’s behavior. Recommendations often include management strategies and individualized behavior modification techniques, with hands-on training typically included for control-related challenges. The initial consultation is usually 90 minutes or more, and may be a one-time solution or lead to recommendations for follow-up appointments, private training, or group classes.
Group training classes include the “Good Dog Basic” 5-week course, designed for any dog or puppy over 12 weeks of age. This course teaches basic commands, important life skills, and helps dogs learn to listen even when distracted. Topics covered include coming when called, loose leash walking, leadership, addressing jumping up, puppy mouthing, attention getting, and rewarding desired behaviors. The group setting provides opportunities for socialization and training with distractions. Each class session is approximately one hour, with limited class sizes for individual attention.

About the Trainer
Seven Valley Pet Services, led by Eric Louis, offers professional dog training and applied animal behavior services. They specialize in providing in-home help to dog owners to find practical solutions for their dogs’ problem behaviors. This includes clear guidance, answers to questions, and tools to immediately improve behavior, often involving hands-on training and individualized recommendations for management strategies and behavior modification techniques.
They address a wide range of behavior concerns such as housetraining, separation anxiety, aggression, fearfulness, biting, mouthing, barking, destructiveness, puppy issues, excessive reactivity, attention seeking, multiple pet issues, new pet integration, and general control concerns. The initial in-home consultation typically lasts at least 90 minutes, and may be sufficient or lead to recommendations for follow-up appointments, private training, or group classes.
Seven Valley Pet Services also offers group training classes, such as the 5-week “Good Dog Basic” course, suitable for dogs and puppies over 12 weeks old. These classes go beyond basic commands, focusing on important life skills, listening even when distracted, daily good manners, and providing socialization opportunities. Class sizes are limited to ensure maximum individual attention. Eric Louis has been providing high-quality training and behavior services since 1982.
