Sharon’s Dog Training currently offers private training sessions. The training philosophy focuses on positive reinforcement to help owners understand their dog’s behavior and strengthen their bond.

A new service, Paws Preschool and Daycare, is coming soon to North Royalton, which will integrate training into a daycare environment.

Sharon’s Dog Training is led by Sharon Buckholz, a Certified Dog Trainer with a lifelong passion for animals. She aims to guide owners to a positive companion by helping them understand their dog’s behavior and fostering a strong relationship.

Sharon’s approach is rooted in positive reinforcement, believing there is no such thing as a “bad” dog. She draws upon extensive personal and professional experience, including 12 years as a vet assistant and experience training horses.

The business currently offers private training sessions. Additionally, Sharon is opening Paws Preschool and Daycare in North Royalton, which will provide training while dogs are at play.

Accomplishments

Sharon Buckholz is a Certified Dog Trainer. She has 12 years of experience working as a vet assistant at Dr. Hart’s Animal Hospital and Porter Pet Hospital.

She also has experience training horses, taking riding lessons, and assisting in teaching riding lessons. Her passion for animals began at a young age, and she successfully trained her own Doberman using positive reinforcement.
