Sharp Dogs Seattle offers comprehensive training programs tailored to various needs. Private training begins with an Initial Consultation, a 1.5-hour deep dive into your dog’s life, behaviors, and personality to create a customized training plan. Specialty consultations are also available for specific needs like pre-adoption preparedness, puppy parenting, and integrating a new dog. Following the consultation, clients can opt for individual sessions or discounted packages of 5, 7, or 9 sessions.
Group classes include “Reactive Remedy” (Level 1 & 2), a 6-week program designed for leash-reactive dogs to reduce barking and lunging, with the first session being humans-only. “Loose Leash Walking” is a 4-session class for dogs 16+ weeks old who pull on the leash.
The business also hosts “Play Groups” for socialization. “Small Dog Social Hour” is for dogs 16 weeks and older, weighing less than 20 lbs, providing a social outlet for both dogs and their owners. “Puppy Playtime” is for puppies 8-16 weeks old, focusing on positive social interactions and play skills, requiring proof of vaccinations. Additionally, a free “Introduction to Modern Dog Training” workshop is offered monthly, covering positive reinforcement and clicker training concepts in a humans-only setting with hands-on exercises and a Q&A session.

Testimonials
“Julie Sharp is a gem! When I adopted a very chaotic 15-month-old herding mutt, I didn’t have the tools to communicate effectively with him. Working with Julie was a wonderful experience! She gave me those tools to help Chaos. Thanks to her instruction, Chaos overcame his challenges. Highly recommended!”
– Brian & Chaos
“Julie helped us train our rescue, and I’m so grateful. Not only did she help us teach basic behaviors to our pup and handle reactivity, but she also helped us build a happier and stronger relationship with our dog. Thanks Julie!”
– El & Peridot
“Julie has been a lifesaver for our family. I had no experience with puppies and felt helpless. She was so helpful and so calm! We were able to work on the basic commands to help our dog. It’s been stressful and Julie always stays positive and offers sound advice. We can not say enough good things about Julie!”
– Carolyn & Cosmo
