The Sheboygan Dog Training Club offers a wide variety of group classes in Obedience, Rally, Agility, and Nose Work/Scent Work. Classes are typically 6-week sessions for obedience and nose work, and 5-week sessions for agility, meeting once a week. They cater to all skill levels, from puppies (8 weeks to 1 year) to adult dogs, with progressive classes like Puppy, Super Puppy, Pet Manners/Basic Obedience, Beyond the Basics/CGC Prep, and advanced obedience skills. Competition-focused classes include Beginner Novice/Ring Ready, Novice/Ring Ready, Open-Utility/Ring Ready, and various levels of Agility. Instructors are volunteer members of the club.
Pricing & Policies
Pricing Summary
Group classes typically meet once a week for 6 weeks. The cost for obedience and nose work classes is $90. Agility classes are $100 for 5-week sessions. Payment must be received to assure your space in a class, and PayPal is the easiest way to pay, allowing the use of credit/debit cards without a PayPal account. Payments should not be mailed directly to the physical address or Post Office box.
About the Trainer
The Sheboygan Dog Training Club is a not-for-profit organization run by dedicated volunteers, providing quality companion and obedience dog classes to Sheboygan area dog owners since 1952. They offer a wide variety of group classes to suit various interests and dog skill levels, from beginner to advanced handlers.
Their facilities include two climate-controlled indoor training facilities (40’x60′ and 60’x120′) with rubber flooring for comfort and injury minimization, as well as two completely fenced outdoor training areas on nine-acre grounds. Training is available year-round. The club also hosts event photos for sale, with all profits directly supporting the club.
Accomplishments
The Sheboygan Dog Training Club, Inc. was licensed by the American Kennel Club (AKC) for Obedience and Rally in 2006, Agility in 2010, Scent Work in 2017, and Fast CAT in 2018.
How to Get Started!
Classes are scheduled based on instructor and training space availability, with registration announcements made when classes are secured.
