Testimonials
“We took our five-month-old rescue dog to basic obedience with Shelby, and liked her so much that we hired her for private sessions. In all of our interactions with Shelby, she’s been very warm, helpful, and responsive. Our dog adores her, and we appreciate how fast she gets back to us whenever we have questions.”
– Emily Z.
“Using Shelby as a trainer was by far the best decision we made. From the very beginning, Shelby was beyond helpful. She explained the importance of socializing your puppy, and we immediately enrolled our Leo in a series of puppy classes following his clearance from the vet. The shy puppy we brought to the first class quickly became extremely friendly and now LOVES to play with other dogs.”
– Melissa B.
“Shelby Semel is the real deal! Her fresh, positive approach to dog training and care is by far the best I have come across. She has worked miracles with, my rescue dog and taught us how to properly train our puppy. I thought the way I was showering my rescue dog with love was all good, but through Shelby I learned that certain things I was doing was actually causing anxiety in my dog. Her classes and one-on-one training are vital for proper dog care. Please learn her techniques! Every dog deserves it.”
– James A.

How to Get Started!
To sign up for a group class, clients must fill out the appropriate form on the group sign-up page and the waiver. They also need to ensure their dog fits the class criteria and forward vaccination records. For private sessions, clients are required to fill out an intake form first. After the form is submitted, the business will pair the client with a trainer based on their needs and area. Once contacted by a trainer, the client can then proceed to purchase a session. An initial evaluation is required for service dog training to determine eligibility and recommend a training plan.
