Side By Side Dog Training

Programs include Puppy Jump Start (10-day intensive), Perfect Puppy Foundations (4+ weeks, customizable), and weekly private lessons. Day School offers full-day training and enrichment Monday–Friday and weekend sleepovers. Sleepovers include overnight boarding with training. Mini Bernedoodles are pre-trained and come with ongoing private support. All programs emphasize positive reinforcement, socialization, and real-life skill-building. Training is customized to each dog’s needs and family schedule.

Pricing Summary

Day School starts at $80/day. Puppy Jump Start starts at $800 for 10 days; Perfect Puppy Foundations starts at $1,600 for 4 weeks. Private monthly lessons are $320. Fully trained Mini Bernedoodles are priced at $6,000 each. Payment accepted via cash or Zelle. Evaluation required before enrollment in Day School or sleepovers.

Policies

Drop-off and pickup for Day School and sleepovers are by appointment only. Dogs must be evaluated before joining Day School; human or dog aggression and severe separation anxiety disqualify dogs. Clients must text when arriving or departing. No cancellation policy specified for training programs.

Karla offers customized training solutions for dogs and their families, including private lessons, day school, sleepovers, and puppy programs. Karla’s facility features a doggy oasis with enrichment activities, play yards, and structured training environments. She also sells fully trained 1.5-year-old Mini Bernedoodles with included ongoing training support. Clients can engage via in-person sessions, virtual calls, or text communication, with Karla known for her quick and accessible responses. Her training methods are reward-based, focusing on positive reinforcement and engagement through games and activities.

Karla provides board-and-train options through sleepovers and day school, where dogs spend the day in a supervised, stimulating environment. Accomplishments

Karla Carlson is an AKC evaluator for Canine Good Citizen, Trick Dog, and Virtual Home Manners tests. She has trained dogs and handlers for agility, Rally, Mondioring, scent detection, dock diving, barn hunt, and pulling. She has attended numerous dog training conferences and seminars and holds experience in therapy dog certification training. Her personal dog, Allies, a Belgian Tervuren, has competed in multiple dog sports.
