Jon Langdon, the Owner and Head Trainer, has been passionate about dogs since birth, inspired by watching local K9 units train. He began working with the Denver Sit Means Sit location in 2006 and subsequently opened the South Denver location in 2009. Jon has competed in various dog sports, including National and World Championships in Dock Dogs.

Blane Longnecker, a trainer, initially became a client of Sit Means Sit in 2009 to address his Golden Retriever’s high prey drive, which led him to become a trainer himself. Judson Brown, another trainer, grew up in a multi-dog household, developing a keen understanding of canine body language. He began his professional dog training career in 2020, working at boarding facilities and with various training companies, learning multiple methods including protection work. He trained his own dog to be a service dog and joined Sit Means Sit South Denver in 2023.
