Sit Means Sit offers a variety of dog training programs tailored to different needs and ages.

**Puppy Management** is designed for dogs 8-20 weeks old and is included free with every package. This program uses positive reinforcement to build lasting behaviors, teaching puppy parents fundamental methods for using food, leashes, praise, and toys to improve their relationship with their new canine companion.

**Obedience Training** focuses on off-leash control and correcting behavioral issues such as aggression, separation anxiety, or a lack of recall. Dogs learn commands like Come, Sit, Place, Down, waiting at doors and crosswalks, potty training, car manners, leash training, off-leash walking, and boundaries. The program also addresses and corrects behaviors like jumping, play biting, chewing, digging, and excessive barking.

The **Private Lessons Program** offers customizable one-on-one training sessions with a certified trainer at a location and time convenient for the dog owner. This program is ideal for those who want to be very hands-on with their dog’s training and learn how to maintain good behaviors.

The **Board and Train Program** is their most efficient option, where dogs stay at their top-of-the-line training facility. Dogs receive premier boarding services alongside intensive training using the Sit Means Sit system for fast and effective progress. Upon completion, trainers bring the dog home and provide private lessons to the owner, continuing until both dog and owner reach a proficiency level required for the Group Training Program.

The **Group Training Program** provides real-world experience in a safe, controlled, and professionally monitored environment. Available to dogs and owners who have completed other programs like Board and Train or Private Lessons, these monthly classes expose dogs to various distractions, including other dogs and unfamiliar people, preparing them for good behavior in any setting. Group classes also foster community and offer ongoing support, helping clients increase their dog’s attention and performance, build confidence, and reform aggressive dogs. They also help prepare dogs for the Canine Good Citizen test and therapy work.

“We took our two pitbulls to Sit Means Sit for training. Sit Means Sit did a wonderful job training our dogs. Kileaux was always easily distracted and Nikita was a rambunctious puppy. The staff was very knowledgeable and helpful in teaching us how to work with our dogs on continued training. It is hard to…”
– Shannon H.

“I am so pleased and impressed with Sit Means Sit in general. My Aussie puppy did a three week board-and-train since my work schedule limited my ability to go to group classes. They were very understanding and did an excellent job of explaining every aspect of their training methods, their e-collar, and were very open…”
