Testimonials

Our German Shepherd, Sophie just returned from her board and train at the HB facility. From our initial meeting with Todd, to her drop off for boarding, this has been such a positive experience. The entire staff we interacted with was exceptional, and as promised, we regularly received very cool videos of Sophie’s progress. She came home in a great mood, ate and played a bit which tells me she was well cared while learning with SIT MEANS SIT.
If you are looking for a training program, this is absolutely the place to be! Thank you to all the staff for taking such good care while training Sophie!

The team at SMS is what makes their training program INCREDIBLE. We boarded our Goldendoodle, Buddy, 6 months ago for training and he came out a soldier (obedient, followed his commands, walked great on and off leash). 6 months later, our dog started resource guarding food, and grew over protective of me, showing signs of aggression towards strangers and other dogs. I called SMS and they immediately sent someone (Erwin) to our home to assess the situation. Erwin helped identify triggers/reasons for my dogs’ behaviors (which were all spot on), and gave me a refresher on my training. I attended my first group training session with Bryan this weekend and am elated at Buddy’s quick and immediate progress. I now have the dog of my dreams! Bryan and the team helped me become the leader that Buddy needs. Thank you Bryan and SMS!!

Just finished our first week with Michael as our trainer with the Ultimate Jump Start package w/ private lessons. It has been an amazing experience!

My husband and I have 2 older corgis and our first goal was to establish a baseline for better obedience training going forward. If you have corgis then you know how stubborn they can be! Sit Means Sit incorporates collars as positive reinforcement to immediately direct and keep attention on the trainer. Michael is an excellent trainer, taking time to understand the needs of our corgis and tailor the training to best suit their individual personalities and needs.

We have more private lessons before our corgis graduate to the group lessons, and we are so excited to continue this journey of improvement!
