Group classes include Puppy Level I and II (6 weeks), Adult Level I (6 weeks), C.G.C. (6 weeks), S.T.A.R. Puppy (6 weeks), Trick Dog (Novice–Performer levels), Dancing with Your Dog (6 weeks), and Out and About (advanced public access). Private training is available in 1-hour sessions for behavior, aggression, or service dog evaluation. The Service Dog Program requires an initial evaluation, medical and disability documentation, and follows a structured curriculum based on Bergin University standards. Puppy Coaching is a monthly membership with pack walks, behavioral support, and access to advanced classes. All programs emphasize real-world distractions, off-leash skills, and owner education.

Group classes are priced at $100–$150 for 5–6 week sessions. Private one-on-one training is $100 per hour. Puppy Coaching is a $120 monthly membership. A tiered pricing plan offers discounts for multiple classes: Pick 1 Class ($130), Pick 2 Classes ($260, 5% discount), Pick 3 Classes ($390, 5% discount), Pick all 5 Classes ($563, 10% discount). Service dog program evaluation is $150, with ongoing training costs varying by duration and needs.
About the Trainer
Denise Agosti is a certified dog trainer based in Anchorage, Alaska, offering group classes, private lessons, and specialized training programs for puppies, adult dogs, and service/therapy dogs. She focuses on positive, fun, and human-centered training, with the motto “I’m not here to train the dog, but their humans.” Her services include Puppy S.T.A.R., Canine Good Citizen (C.G.C.), Trick Dog, Out and About, and Dancing with Your Dog classes—all held at the Lutheran Church of Hope. She also offers one-on-one private training for behavioral issues, aggression, or service dog evaluation, and a structured Service Dog Training Program aligned with Bergin University standards. How to Get Started!
Prospective clients must book an initial evaluation or class through the online booking system. For service dog applicants, an evaluation is required to assess the dog’s temperament and suitability, along with submission of a doctor’s letter and veterinarian’s letter. Puppy Coaching and group classes can be enrolled in directly via the Book Online page. All classes require completion of prerequisite classes for advanced levels.
