The “Puppy Intro Class” is a one-time session for new puppies, covering housebreaking, basic commands, and bond development. “Private Lessons” are tailored obedience training sessions where the trainer works personally with the client and dog, addressing behavioral concerns and advancing training, with an option for “travel to customer service.”

The “Lifetime Training Program” is a two-week board and train program that includes raw dog food and lifetime support. Dogs learn essential commands like sit, down, stay, heel, and place, focusing on behavior modification and building confidence. Owners participate in the second week to learn follow-through. The “Lifetime Deluxe” program extends this to five weeks, aiming for off-leash obedience and incorporating duration, agility, and impulse control exercises, with the last week dedicated to owner involvement. “Group Classes” are available for clients who have completed a lifetime program or private sessions, ensuring a solid foundation for all participants.

Pricing Summary

The Lifetime Training Program costs $2400-$2500, requiring a $250 deposit with payment plans available. The Lifetime Deluxe program is priced at $5200-$5500, also requiring a $250 deposit and offering payment plans. Private sessions are $250, with an additional travel fee for off-site service. A one-time Puppy Intro Class is $100. Group classes are $35 per dog, but free for students who have completed a lifetime training program.

Policies

Smart K9 requires veterinary records (Rabies, Parvo, Distemper, Any Current Medication) for dogs entering the Lifetime training programs. They reserve the right to refuse training to dogs that do not meet these health requirements, are in poor health, or pose a threat to people or other dogs, even if purchased online; a refund may be discussed in such cases. A deposit is required to reserve a date for the Lifetime programs. Smart K9 is not responsible for injuries sustained from equipment or training collars during sessions or outside their premises.
