Smart Paws offers two main program types: group classes held on Sundays at 6:00 PM and Tuesdays at 7:00 PM, each lasting 45 minutes to one hour over five weeks. In-home training is offered in three formats: a single 1.5-hour session, a four-session package (approx. 5.5 hours total), and an eight-session package (eight 30-minute sessions over four weeks). All programs focus on obedience commands and behavior modification, with personalized attention to each dog’s needs. Training reinforcement walks are available only to past clients to maintain progress.

Pricing Summary

Group classes cost $235 for five consecutive weeks, with a $30 non-refundable deposit. In-home training includes a 1.5-hour session for $212 (with $50 deposit), a four-visit program for $588, and an eight-visit program for $588. All deposits are non-refundable and applied to the balance. Additional fees apply for visits beyond 10 miles from Silver Lake.

Policies

Reservations for group and in-home classes require a non-refundable deposit ($30 for group, $50 for in-home), which is applied to the balance upon class start. No refunds are offered for cancellations or missed sessions. Group class dates and times are subject to change based on enrollment.

Smart Paws serves pet owners in Silver Lake, Echo Park, Los Feliz, Downtown LA, East LA, Hollywood, Glendale, Burbank, Studio City, and La Cañada. Training is available for puppies, adolescents, and adult dogs of all breeds and sizes, including small, medium, large, and brachycephalic dogs. Clients receive personalized handouts and ongoing support to ensure long-term success.

Accomplishments

She continues to consult for dog rescue organizations and attends yearly training seminars.
