AKC STAR Puppy Course, AKC Canine Good Citizen, CC, and UCGC Courses are each $300. AKC Certificate Testing for STAR Puppy/CGC/CC/UCGC/Trick Dog Test Only is $45. Consulting Services are $75 per session.

Daycare is $30, and Boarding Services are $40 per day/per dog. Additional fees apply for heavy markers and females in heat. A multiple dog discount of 5% is available, as are First Responder/Veteran Discounts. Accepted payment methods include Cash, Check (for established clients), Credit Card, Debit Card, Facebook Pay, and Venmo, with a Credit/Debit Card required to be on file.

Policies

Snake River Four Paws operates by appointment only for drop-offs, pick-ups, and facility visits, with scheduled times and late fees for delays or no-shows. They assess additional cleaning supply fees for intact males (heavy markers) and females in heat during boarding/daycare.

A Services Agreement addresses reservation and cancellation details, requiring 24-hour advance notice for pick-up time changes, which must be approved directly by Cass via text. They do not accept dogs with a history of fighting or biting, with exceptions for active or retired working K9s.

Required vaccinations include Canine Parvovirus, Distemper, Canine hepatitis, Lepto, Bordatella, and Rabies, with veterinary letters and titer test results accepted for medical exemptions. For dogs attending other facilities, a 2-week waiting period is requested before coming to Snake River Four Paws to prevent illness spread. They utilize electronic bark or training collars for excessive barkers in the kennel, as per their Services Agreement.

Accomplishments

Cass, the owner and operator, opened Snake River Four Paws in 2019 and brings over 30 years of canine experience. She is an active member of the Lewis County Sheriff’s Office K9 Search and Rescue Team, nationally certified with NSDA, and deploys to help agencies find missing persons with her SAR German Shepherd, Jack.

Cass also has three other working K9s: Petra (certified for Article/Evidence Recovery and Narcotics detection), K9 Sitka (training for tracking/trailing), and Freyja (certified Narcotics detection K9 and AKC Agility competitor). Onor is her competitive obedience dog. Her drive for knowledge and education is continuous, aiming to offer services that best suit community needs.

How to Get Started!

To schedule services, all pups must be registered through their website, and current vaccination records need to be uploaded or sent. Clients can then request services through their online account or contact the business for assistance with scheduling. Facility visits are by appointment only.
