Testimonials
“My family and I are so grateful for Todd’s 1-week intensive training program! Our 8-month German Shepherd, Kyra, was my first family dog so I felt under-equipped on how to train and discipline her. My husband felt more comfortable with interacting Kyra because he had 3 German Shepherds growing up, but still wanted to get Kyra some training for some of the struggles we have been having with her obedience. To give you a little bit of background, Kyra is a loving puppy, but she lacked personal space (e.g., jumped on guests), had a bad habit of playful biting, would zig zag and do her own thing on walks, and was easily distractible when other people or dogs were around (e.g., would want to run towards them dragging me along with her). Mind you, she is a 60 pound puppy, so I felt overwhelmed on how to get her on the road to discipline. We have tried some strategies from YouTube, but those had only taken us so far. That was when our mother-in-law sent us the link for private dog training with Todd. From day one, Todd was able to teach us valuable pieces of information about how to break our old habits/beliefs and broaden our knowledge on how a dog sees the world. He took his time providing answers to our endless questions and had our training sessions personalized to Kyra. He also carved out some one on one time with Kyra on her bigger areas of need. The number one thing I appreciated from Todd was the amount of patience he gave us and Kyra throughout the whole process. It has been about a month since our lessons with Todd and we still consistently use the strategies he taught us to keep Kyra in check. Thanks to Todd, Kyra has been calmer, our walks are a lot less stressful, and we know how to approach situations that used to feel a lot more chaotic with confidence. Thank you Sniff Squad!!!
Sincerely,
The Chiu family”

“Todd is an Amazing trainer. He is very patient and is so good with Gus. He explains everything to us so we understand why the specific approach works and how to continue to practice and reinforce it . In just 5 sessions my puppy has learned sit, down, place, leave it, and “home.” We have a lot of sessions planned and I cant wait to teach Gus some more advanced behaviors. Highly Recommend!”

“Todd with Sniff Squad is highly knowledgeable, and I can’t recommend him enough for dog training services! I have seen noticeable improvement with my high energy puppy with regard to jumping, pulling, and basic obedience. Todd always takes time to explain the “why” behind the behavior for both myself and my dog which is very helpful. I now have a tailor fit game plan for daily training I can implement at home and on walks.”

About the Trainer
Sniff Squad Dog Training, owned and operated by Todd, aims to improve the lives and behavior of dogs and their relationships with their humans. Todd helps owners understand their dogs better, teaching essential skills and fostering communication to build an unbreakable bond. The training emphasizes communication through body language, poise, and technique, along with engaging play and exercise.
The business offers a unique approach, including “The School 4 Dogs” program, which provides full-day training, socialization, and exercise in natural areas for a maximum of 5 dogs. This program is designed to be an exclusive school for dogs, avoiding traditional kennel environments. Todd is the sole trainer, ensuring consistent and personalized attention for every dog and owner.
Sniff Squad provides practical training options that are fun, unique, and convenient. Their board and train program offers a clean home environment for dogs, focusing on individual attention rather than a kennel. Private training sessions are held at their studio or relevant locations to maximize effectiveness.
The mission is to teach not only the dog but, more importantly, the human family about their dog, striving to create a balanced partnership that continues to grow even after the training concludes. Todd’s passion for canines and teaching drives his goal to empower dog owners.
