Dog Training Methodology
Methods:
- ✓ Positive Reinforcement Only
Adventure Dog Ranch offers a Board and Train program that is popular and often booked to capacity. This program combines their free-range boarding with significant in-pack and one-on-one training.
They provide dog training for dogs and their humans who need help with their place in the family hierarchy or those who seem independent and stubborn. The training approach focuses on finding what motivates each dog, such as food, play, or affection, to help restore peace to the home.
About the Trainer
Adventure Dog Ranch is a premier, cage-free dog boarding, daycare, and training facility located in Marysville. They have been providing happy, fun, and safe stays for dogs for 19 years, and are fully licensed and insured.
Their boarding services allow dogs to play all day with the pack and sleep indoors in heated, well-ventilated bedroom-sized rooms with up to six other dogs, offering a vast improvement over traditional kennels. They provide comfortable cots, blankets, and beds, and do not use cages, though crates are allowed for dogs accustomed to them or those in training.
The facility boasts over 25,000 square feet of securely fenced outdoor play area for both daycare and boarding dogs. Their popular Board and Train program combines free-range boarding with significant in-pack and one-on-one training, aiming to help dogs and their owners restore peace to their homes by addressing hierarchy issues and stubborn behaviors. They focus on finding what motivates each dog, whether it’s food, play, or affection, to facilitate learning.
