Toby served as a 341st patrol dog trainer, military working dog handler, and kennel master, honorably discharged at the rank of Staff Sergeant. He has trained dogs globally in locations such as Texas, Germany, The Philippines, California, and Bahrain.

Since June 2020, Toby has conducted over 1,100 private training sessions in Southern California. His expertise covers a wide range of services including puppy and house training, behavioral modification, service and therapy dog training, detection training, and protection training.

Accomplishments

Toby Anderson is a decorated nine-year military veteran who served as a 341st patrol dog trainer, military working dog handler, and kennel master, honorably discharged as a Staff Sergeant. He graduated from all three military working dog schools and holds a B.S. degree in Business Administration from the Haas School of Business at the University of California – Berkeley.

During his military career, Toby trained and certified 25 Military Working Dogs (MWDs) in advanced obedience, controlled aggression, scouting, building search, and gunfire conditions. He was named Trainer of the Month for training five MWDs in one month and earned the Air Force Achievement Medal. He was hand-selected for a 12-personnel procurement mission team, evaluating over 1,000 dogs and assisting in the selection and training of thirty dogs for purchase. Toby also served as Kennel Master of canine explosive operations during a classified Persian Gulf mission, earning the Air Force Commendation Medal and being recognized as “Best Non-Commissioned Officer.”
