About the Trainer
Sol Dog Lodge and Training Center is a community business and a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to supporting families and their dogs. Their primary mission is to help dogs stay with their forever families, thereby keeping them out of overcrowded shelter and rescue systems.
They operate a new, comprehensive facility on four acres in Marana, Arizona, which houses their boarding, training, and grooming services all under one roof. Their trainers utilize a variety of methods, focusing on effective, low-stress training that works with a dog’s natural drives and instincts, aiming for a happy, cooperative dog and an enjoyable experience for all involved.
The lodge offers individualized care in its small kennel, maintaining a calm, structured environment to reduce stress for boarded dogs by setting and rewarding good manners. Additionally, they provide a full range of grooming services, from baths to stylish cuts and nail trims, with a focus on safety and positive experiences. They also offer dog classes, starting with an Adult Dog Enrichment Obedience Class, and support dog adoption efforts.
