About the Trainer
Sol Dog Lodge and Training Center is a community business and a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to supporting families and their dogs. Their core mission is to help dogs remain with their forever families, thereby reducing the burden on overcrowded shelter and rescue systems. They achieve this by providing comprehensive training, education, and support to foster a thriving relationship between dogs and their humans.
The center operates from a newly established, four-acre campus located in Marana, Arizona, where all their services, including boarding, training, and grooming, are consolidated under one roof. Their trainers employ a diverse range of methods, emphasizing flexibility to cater to each dog’s individuality. The goal is to deliver effective, low-stress training that aligns with a dog’s natural drives and instincts, resulting in a happy, cooperative pet and a positive experience for all involved.
In addition to training, Sol Dog Lodge offers individualized care in their small kennel, maintaining a structured environment by setting expectations and rewarding good manners to minimize stress for boarding dogs. They also provide a full suite of grooming services, from basic baths and brushes to stylish cuts and nail trims, ensuring every pet receives careful attention and a positive, safe grooming experience.
