Something to Bark About Dog Training offers both Board and Train programs and Private Training Classes. The Board and Train programs are immersive experiences where dogs stay at the facility and receive daily, one-on-one training sessions. These programs are available in 2-week, 3-week, 4-week, 6-week, and 8-week durations, tailored to address specific behavior issues or teach new skills. The 3-week program emphasizes muscle memory development, while the 6-week and 8-week programs include an e-collar for the owner to take home, with the 8-week program also providing an elevated cot and focusing on advanced obedience. All Board and Train programs include personalized training plans, daily training sessions, socialization opportunities, health monitoring, and weekly owner training sessions/visits. The 8-week program also offers weekly progress updates and lifetime support.
Private Training Classes provide one-on-one sessions tailored to the dog’s specific needs and owner’s training goals. These classes are offered in 4-week (4 one-hour sessions) or 6-week (6 one-hour sessions) packages. The 6-week private class includes AKC Star Puppy for dogs 12 months and younger. These sessions provide hands-on guidance using positive reinforcement techniques to enhance obedience and socialization.
