South Bay Dog Training Center offers various training programs tailored to individual dog needs. The “Transformation Consultation/Q & A” is a one-time session to discuss training styles and how they can assist.
They provide “In-Home” training packs for minor behavioral issues in the South Bay LA & LBC areas. “5 Private Sessions” are available to teach owners tools for training their pets, and “Unlimited Lessons (1 YEAR)” are offered for dedicated dog owners seeking comprehensive support.
For puppies, “The Puppy Social (3mths to 7mths)” aims to give them a good head start. For more intensive training, they have “5 week Board and Train” for on-leash obedience and social manners, and “6 week Board and Train” which adds off-leash behaviors. A “Behavior Modification B+T” program is available for intensive reprogramming of unhelpful learned or genetic behaviors, particularly for reactivity and aggression issues.

A Difficult/Special Handling Fee of $15 per hour may apply. Prices for grooming are estimates and depend on the dog’s skin/hair condition, length, and size. Doodle mixes may incur higher prices.

Policies
Cancellations for appointments require at least 24 hours’ notice, or a fee equal to the full price of the canceled services or the deposit amount will be assessed. For grooming services, no-shows and cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice incur a $35 fee. For boarding and general appointments, a 48-hour advance notice is required for cancellations, otherwise a $60 fee is charged.
Pets must be picked up by 8:00 pm for boarding, with early/late fees potentially applied outside normal business hours. Pets must be on a leash during drop-off and pick-up. All dogs must be current on Rabies, Distemper combo, and Bordetella vaccinations, with Canine Influenza, Lepto, and Lyme vaccinations potentially required by location. Dogs over six months old must be spayed or neutered to be allowed in kennel rooms and outside with other pets; intact dogs or pregnant females are not accepted.
The company may deny services if a pet exhibits aggressive behavior, is not in good health, has been exposed to contagious diseases, or if fees are not paid. Owner is solely liable for their and their pet’s actions on premises and for any damages caused. The company is not responsible for airborne illnesses or pre-existing conditions due to matted coats during grooming. Owner consents to emergency veterinary care and the use of non-pet labeled products for medication or to entice eating. If a pet is not picked up, it may be considered abandoned, and the company may find a new home or deliver to Animal Control, with the owner remaining responsible for fees.
