Splash ‘n Dash K9 Sports offers a well-defined and progressive class curriculum that utilizes the latest training methods and is based on Positive Reinforcement training principles. They currently offer classes in obedience, agility, scent work, rodeo dog, flyball, treibball, and trick dog.

Classes are typically 8 weeks long, and students are encouraged to take them in sequence as each class builds upon the preceding one. For agility, most exercises can be adapted for young dogs, with jumping skills practiced by lowering the bar, and tight turns or obstacles where a dog could fall from a height are not attempted until growth plates are closed.

Pricing & Policies

Pricing Summary

Registration fees are per session, with classes typically lasting 8 weeks. The pricing for an 8-week, 1-hour class is $136 for non-members and $112 for members. If a class is shortened due to a holiday or event, the pricing will be reduced accordingly.

Payment is due in full for the entire session by the last day of registration, which is also the last day of the current class session. Payments can be made by check, mailed or dropped off at the Club’s mailbox, or online via credit card. Your spot in a class is not guaranteed until payment is received.

Policies

No refunds are given once registration has closed unless the spot can be filled. For classes cancelled by the club due to poor road conditions, lack of power, or instructor illness, a make-up week is scheduled between sessions in winter, or the instructor may offer a make-up weekend class during other sessions. If a student cannot attend the make-up, the instructor will issue a class credit for a future session.

Female dogs in heat are not permitted in classes, and the instructor may issue credits for up to three missed classes for this reason. For serious injury or illness of the dog or handler resulting in two or more missed classes, or required attendance at a Club meeting or official Club business, students must email info@sndk9.com with dates, class, instructor, and cause. The Board of Directors will review the request and may issue a credit slip for future classes or, at their discretion, a refund. Credits expire one year after issuance and will not be replaced if lost.
