Spot-On K9 Training offers private and group training programs. Private Behavioral Modification Training (4-6 classes, 60 minutes each) focuses on basic obedience and addressing unwanted behaviors such as reactivity, separation anxiety, biting, jumping, chewing, pulling, resource guarding, and aggression. Off-Leash Recall/Remote E-Collar Training (4-6 classes, 60 minutes each) aims for 100% guaranteed recall and off-leash reliability using e-collars, suitable for dogs 5.5 months and older.

The Walk Doctor Clinic (2 classes, 60 minutes each) is designed as a quick fix for chaotic leash walking and obedience challenges, but it is not suitable for dogs displaying dangerous reactivity or severe fear/anxiety. Dog Training via FaceTime or Phone Consult (1 session, 60 minutes) provides essential information and techniques for specific issues, particularly for clients in areas not physically covered. All private training packages include free drop-in group classes (up to 9 classes, held monthly from March to November in Central Park West), phone and email support for the dog’s life, and exclusive help documents.

Testimonials

“I am so happy we found you, and I am so happy for Bear. This was therapy for him as much as it was training. It’s so wonderful seeing him be a calmer, happier dog. We feel so hopeful and glad to have a path forward to shape his relationship with our baby so it is healthy and safe. This has been an empowering and fun process. We are glad we found you and look forward to attending more group classes!”
– Carissa & Chriss C.

“Stephen did an amazing job with my 4-month-old Bernedoodle puppy Freddy in just three sessions. Before training with Stephen, Freddy was reactive on a leash, lunging and biting at our clothing. After one session, Freddy walked in a heel position on a leash with no reactivity. He also learned to sit in place for long periods of time and recall on a long lead. Overall, I would highly recommend Stephen to anyone!”
– Abby & Ryan Rubin

“I can’t tell you how thrilled I am with the lesson! Obviously, I have to work on my own confidence and leash handling, but boy I got a boost today! Here I am a pregnant lady, who’s walking a badass house wolf like a champ!During the worst part of recent illness, I looked at her a couple of times, as she was chewing up furniture in frustration and thought, “I’m never gonna be able to control her.” I know we have a ways to go, but today gave me hope. I’m actually looking forward to talking her out now! Thank you again!”
