The business is led by Stephanie Duca, who has 30 years of dog training experience and prides herself on being empathetic to clients’ specific needs, keeping an open mind to various approaches to ensure success for each human/canine team. The team also includes Krissy and Jayne, an instructor who completed a 12-month internship with the school.

Stephanie’s Dog Training works with a wide variety of dog breeds and temperaments, having experience with rescues and personal dogs ranging from pugs to Great Danes and wolf hybrids. They focus on helping dogs achieve basic obedience skills and addressing physical and emotional needs to make them more adoptable.

The school is located at 525 South Main Street in Holden, MA, easily accessible from 190 and 290, with plenty of parking. They offer classes and aim to help students and their canine pals reach goals they might not have thought possible.

Accomplishments

Stephanie Duca is an AKC certified tester since 2010. She is certified for judging, testing, temperament testing, and certifying canines for AKC Canine Good Citizen (CGC) and all levels of tricks titles. She has competed with her own dogs, achieving titles such as CGC, Rally Novice (RN), Rally Intermediate (RI), Rally Advanced (RA), Tricks Dog Novice (TDN), Tricks Dog Intermediate (TDI), and Achiever Dog (AD). Stephanie is a proud member of the Association of Professional Dog Trainers (APDT) and continuously furthers her professional titles through educational seminars and clinics.

Jayne, an instructor, completed a 12-month internship program with Stephanie’s Dog Training. Her dog, Byrdie, earned AKC Canine Good Citizen (CGC) and AKC Canine Good Citizen Advanced (CGCA), and became a certified therapy dog before the age of two.
