Stoneleigh Labradors

Stoneleigh Labradors is a small, private breeding kennel located at Stoneleigh Farm in Brewster, NY. They specialize in breeding AKC registered, champion-bred Labradors (black and yellow) and have recently added German Shepherds from top West German show lines. Their breeding philosophy focuses on preserving the appearance and loving temperament of the English-type Labrador, while ensuring excellent genetics for health.

They thoroughly screen their dogs for various health clearances, including hips, elbows, eyes, EIC, CNM, DM, and PRA. Puppies are hand-raised in their home, receiving abundant affection and socialization. Stoneleigh Labradors prides itself on producing dogs with “Type, Temperament, and Trainability,” with many of their puppies becoming therapy dogs, gentleman’s hunting companions, FBI Canine Crisis Response dogs, and cherished family pets. They also offer holiday and summer boarding services for Stoneleigh families.

Accomplishments

Stoneleigh Labradors breeds AKC registered, champion-bred dogs and focuses on producing puppies for their show program. Their breeding program has produced AKC Champions, therapy dogs, gentleman’s hunting companions, and FBI Canine Crisis Response dogs, including “FBI Crisis Response Dog Wally.”

They have dogs like CH Stoneleighs Cool Coal Man, who won a JAM at the 2019 Labrador Retriever Club of the Potomac, and BISS GCH/CH Stoneleighs Into Mischief. They regularly attend AKC sanctioned events such as conformation, field trials, agility, rally, obedience, and CGC.
