Strutt Your Mutt offers an intensive Board and Train program where dogs are immersed in their facility to build a strong foundation, gain trust and respect, and address behavioral issues. This program aims to help owners understand their dog’s triggers and continue rehabilitation at home. They also provide Private Training packages, offering tools and strategies to create a strong foundation and build a lifelong relationship with a dog, with trainers coming to the client’s preferred location.

“My husband and I have been to several trainers for our dog with little success. We just wanted to walk our dog without him pulling us. They aim to bring balance to a dog’s life by leading and directing them to be calm and relaxed in any environment. They focus on finding a technique and routine tailored to each individual dog and their needs.
The business offers intensive Board and Train programs where dogs are immersed in their facility to build a strong foundation, gain trust and respect, and address behavioral issues. This program aims to help owners understand their dog’s triggers and successfully continue rehabilitation at home.
Strutt Your Mutt also provides Private Training packages, where trainers come to the client’s location to offer tools and strategies for building a strong, lifelong relationship with their dog. Additionally, they offer doggy daycare and dog walking services.
Accomplishments
Erika Hall, the owner, graduated from the University of Oregon with a BS in Sociology and Political Science. She opened Strutt Your Mutt in 2012 after self-studying dog psychology, including figures like Cesar Millan and The Monks of New Skeet. Both Erika and Hilary Briggs have attended the Lucas Agnew training workshop in California, learning from Cheri Lucas and Brian Agnew. The facility is licensed by the Pet Animal Care Facilities Act.
