Testimonials
My dog was in boarding with them 3 years ago. Trent’s staff abused my dog. Because this is a black owned company, I didn’t want to go to court or hurt this man’s company. He apologized for his staff and my dog didn’t show any ill will to him so I know that he, himself was not the abuser. He admitted that it was his staff and that he was going to fire them. He even told me that if she needed anything to reach out and his vet would be able to help. My dog ended up needing CCL surgery. all I asked was for assistance with the cost of surgery. Trent started ignoring me. I asked for his insurance info – because surely when owning a business like this, you must have insurance for these types of on incidents.. he continued ignoring me. I asked what vet he used.. ignored. Anytime I asked for any information, he completely ignored me.

About the Trainer
T.Harris K9 is a small, dog training business founded by Trenton Harris, a certified trainer, decoy, and helper with over ten years of experience. They offer obedience training at all levels—including puppy, beginner, intermediate, and advanced classes—as well as private 1-on-1 sessions, rally obedience, CGC, therapy dog testing, loose leash walking, and a working dog club focused on protection sports like APPDA, IGP, and PSA. Trenton also runs Black Dynasty Kennels, breeding Cane Corsos for strong nerves and temperaments, and provides boarding and day training services. Additional services include protection training, competition obedience, and dog breeding. Grooming is offered through a partnered facility, Alford’s Angels Beauty & Spa.
Trenton is an AKC CGC evaluator, a member of the Upstate Kennel Club, and has competed in multiple dog sports with his own dogs, earning titles in obedience, rally, French Ring, dock diving, and lure coursing. His training philosophy emphasizes building a bond through mutual respect, using the dog’s innate drives to motivate desired behaviors. The business is based in Kenmore, NY, and serves the Buffalo and Rochester areas.
T.Harris K9 operates out of a private facility and offers both group classes and individualized programs, with flexible scheduling including weekday day training and weekend appointments.
