Testimonials

Adopting a fearful dog opened my eyes to a whole world of new concepts as I tried to help her become more comfortable and relaxed in everyday life. I started Nosework in 2015 as a way to help build her confidence. From that 1st class, she and I were hooked. Shortly after, I adopted another dog who was environmentally sensitive. I immediately enrolled him in Nosework classes. To this day, I still love watching their confidence grow as we navigated this sport together. When I started Nosework, I had no plans to compete. That was until I volunteered at a Nosework trial (highly recommended to anyone interested in this sport). Between the fun atmosphere and friendly people, I was drawn to participate. In 2018, with the support of my instructor, I entered my 1st Nosework Trial. Now, I currently compete with 3 of my 4 dogs. My environmentally sensitive dog is entering Elite, while my fearful dog and my youngest are working their way through the various levels. I could watch dogs search all day long. I’m so excited to share this sport with anyone who wants to come play.

Just wanted you to know how well Parker is doing. He is a super obedient, attentive, well adjusted 8 month old. He now goes off leash with me everywhere on the farm. He stays right with me on hikes, enjoys swimming, does very well meeting new dogs and is even sorta friends with the duck. Thanks for helping me believe in him. That was the only missing piece. And getting him hooked on the ball has been huge. He loves it and it’s a great activity for us all to do with him. He’s fantastic with the kids. He’s quite the perfect farm and family dog and we’re lucky to have him. Thanks for getting us on the right track.

Heather is WONDERFUL. We did a home training with her and after a mere hour, we’re already seeing progress with our baby Homer. Not only does she give you a bounty of amazing information, but she has a fabulous and fun personality that made the hour fly by. She is attentive, cares about your specific questions, and offers gentle feedback and adjustments to what you’re already doing to get your pup into the best behavior possible. I’m looking forward to signing up for manners classes with her soon! 1010 would recommend!!
