TAILored Pet Services offers group dog training classes and individualized Leash & Learn visits. Group classes are 6-week series held at their Four-Legged Fun Zone facility in small groups for personalized attention. Puppy training covers house-training, puppy biting, chewing, basic obedience (Sit, Look, Touch), managing distractions, resource guarding, recall, vet/groomer prep, and loose leash walking. Adult dog training focuses on behavior basics, positive techniques, essential commands (Sit, Look, Touch, Heel, Stay, Go to Bed), tackling leash pulling, perfecting distractions, enhancing recall, and fun tricks.

Leash & Learn visits integrate training techniques into dog walks to teach leash manners, basic obedience commands, and positive reinforcement. These are offered in 30-minute or 60-minute sessions, available in packages of 5 or 10 visits, following an initial $75 Zoom consultation. They also address “Reactive Rover” issues by working to heal and manage the root of a dog’s reactivity and emotions, rather than just providing “band-aid solutions.”

Pricing & Policies

Pricing Summary

Group dog training classes are offered as a 6-week series for $195 per dog. Leash & Learn visits, which combine walks and training, require a $75 Zoom consultation. For 30-minute Leash & Learn sessions, a 5-visit package costs $225 and a 10-visit package costs $400. For 60-minute sessions, a 5-visit package is $400 and a 10-visit package is $700.

The company accepts Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover cards, with credit card information securely encrypted. For dog walks, clients are invoiced monthly, and the credit card on file is automatically charged on the first of each month. For pet sits, credit card payments are typically processed on the first or second Friday closest to the departure date, with alternative arrangements possible for mailed checks or adjusted due dates.

A holiday fee of 25% per visit applies on Memorial Weekend, Independence Day Weekend, Labor Weekend, Thanksgiving Weekend, and the holiday week (usually three days before Christmas and one day after New Year’s Day).

Policies

For mid-day dog walks, clients on a recurring monthly schedule are subject to a 50% cancellation fee if they cancel. Cancellations must be communicated to the office by 7 AM on the same day, or the full visit will be charged. For pet sitting, a refund is given if cancellation is received 8 or more days prior to service, except for holidays which require 14 days advance notice.

Overnight services require cancellation 31 or more days in advance for a refund, with a fee applied for turning away business. Boarding reservations require a non-refundable reservation fee ($100 or 10%, or full amount if less than $100). For non-holidays, cancellation must be 31 days in advance, and for company holidays, 60 days in advance, for the deposit to be credited towards a future reservation. No credit is given for early pickups, and disputing forfeited deposits may result in a permanent ban from the facility.

The company primarily caters to recurring schedules and may not always accommodate irregular or last-minute requests, though they will try to assist in emergencies. They require current vaccinations (rabies, distemper, bordetella) for participation in nail trims, playgroups, daycare, and grooming. For daycare, male dogs over 6 months old must be neutered to participate in group play. They do not have breed restrictions but may discuss alternative arrangements if a pet exhibits aggressive behavior that poses a threat to staff safety.

Testimonials

“I read the daily reports every day. They are great and provide excellent information. The team includes very friendly people from the office staff to the dog walkers. I appreciate that Amy calls me with any issues that I need to be aware of. Rocky is very happy with the care he receives from TPS.”
– John – Everett

“I am so happy we found TPS! Having reliable, convenient, and awesome daily walks for our three fur babies has been great! It helps alleviates some of the guilt I feel around long work days at the office. Chantelle is amazing and my furbabies look forward to walking and playing with her all week. I don’t trust many people with my babies, so I truly appreciate Chantelle and highly recommend TPS.”
– Michelle in Bothell 98012

“I have been a client since May 2013 (overnights and day visits). Antigone has been fantastic—even sleeps with my dogs! She sends me photos on arrival and departure for day visits and more frequently during overnights. She leaves detailed notes with photos attached of their activities on the overnight visits which I really enjoy reading when I get home. She has also picked my dogs up at the vet and taxied them to my house. When I come home, I don’t think they even missed me! It is a huge stress relief for me to know that they are so well taken care of in the comfortable surroundings of their own home. I highly recommend them as a much preferred alternative to boarding. She also brings in the trash can (I hate that job!) and picks up poop! She goes above and beyond and my dogs love her!!!”

About the Trainer

TAILored Pet Services LLC is a comprehensive pet care company based in Snohomish County, Washington, aiming to be a primary authority for pet owners to live happily with their furry companions. They provide quality care through dog walking, pet sitting, and training, along with knowledgeable recommendations for pet owners. The company emphasizes making every training experience fun and effective, ensuring it integrates seamlessly with clients’ daily lives.

They focus on educating humans about dog behavior and providing tools to help dogs live in the human world safely. TAILored Pet Services offers a customized approach to dog walking, private dog training, and pet sitting clients, going the extra mile to provide premium service. They also volunteer at animal rescues by offering free community educational seminars and fundraising hours.

All their pet nannies are employees who undergo an extensive interview process, pass federal background checks, and receive continuous training. The company guarantees quality service or a 100% refund if dissatisfied. In 2024, they opened their first physical location, Four-Legged Fun Zone, which serves as a place for dogs to play, rest, and be groomed in a safe, loving environment.

Their training services include both group classes and individual sessions, utilizing positive reinforcement and science-backed methods. They have a certified dog trainer on staff and offer specialized programs for puppies, adult dogs, and senior dogs, addressing various behavioral issues. Beyond training, they provide dog daycare, dog grooming, socialization play groups, in-home boarding, overnight pet sitting, and cat sitting.

How to Get Started!

To begin services, clients are generally required to complete an online profile with contact, veterinary, and pet information, as well as details on supply locations. This is done prior to an initial consultation or meet-and-greet.

For group training classes, interested clients can complete an online form to reserve a spot or learn more, and the company will reply within one business day. For dog walks, an initial consultation costs $30, where clients meet their pet nanny, discuss routines, tour the home, and exchange keys. For grooming, clients create a pet profile and upload vaccination records; they can also opt for a $10 “Meet the Groomer” consultation which includes a nail trim and time to discuss concerns, with the fee credited towards a future bath or groom.

For boarding, new clients must schedule a 24-hour trial for $75 per dog to ensure suitability. For cat sitting and overnights, a $30 meet-and-greet is required to introduce the pet nanny and review routines. The company encourages scheduling a meet-and-greet with the assigned pet nanny before booking, and this initial meeting fee is credited towards the first reservation.
