The Board and Train program involves the dog staying in the trainer’s home for a 2-week period to address everyday life issues through training. Accomplishments
Josh Jeffers has been training dogs since 2010. His career began at Petco, where he helped hundreds of people and served as a Dog Training Mentor, overseeing over 600 group class sessions and mentoring new trainers.
While at Petco, Josh also worked with K9s for Warriors, an organization providing service dogs to veterans. He further developed his skills with Mayo Clinic’s “Caring Canines” Unit, running seminars for handlers, and became a Canine Good Citizen Evaluator in Florida. Before owning Tails of Success, he was the head trainer for Sit Happens for six years.
