Board and Train programs are available for three weeks ($3,500) or two weeks ($2,750), focusing on socialization, crate training, general obedience (sit, down, bed, leave it, off, loose leash walking), relaxation, and building duration, distraction, and distance into commands. The three-week program optionally includes an Ecollar. Both include access to an online course, unlimited phone/text support for a year, four revisits, and access to a training Facebook group.

The Puppy Jumpstart program ($1,500) is a 7-day board and train focusing on similar foundational skills for puppies. Group classes operate on a revolving levels system (Puppy Class, Level 1 Obedience, Level 2 Obedience) with flexible session packages (6, 8, or 12 sessions) and include socialization time. Puppy Class is for dogs 2-6 months and covers AKC Puppy S.T.A.R. Levels 1 and 2 are for dogs 6+ months and are eligible for AKC Canine Good Citizen tests.

Additional training programs include House Call ($1,000), which provides an online course, unlimited phone/text support for a year, four revisits, and Facebook group access, covering crate training, general obedience, and relaxation. The Digital – Private Lesson Program ($400) is mainly online-based with two one-hour private in-person visits at their training center, focusing on training foundations and practical obedience. The Digital – Day Training Fusion Program ($320) is also online-based and includes four training sessions through two full days of daycare, with videos of training sessions provided. Both digital programs include access to the “Training at Home” online course and the Facebook group. Additional private lessons can be purchased for $100/each, and additional day training days for $60/day.

About the Trainer

We Talk Dog is a comprehensive dog care facility founded by Adam Summerford, designed with dogs and clients in mind. They offer a range of services including Training & Coaching, Grooming, Boarding, and Daycare, aiming to meet most dog needs in one location.

The facility is conveniently located in the Crestwood area and boasts over 9,000 square feet of dog play areas, featuring outdoor K-9 turf and size-appropriate indoor play spaces. They emphasize dog safety, with staff learning to “Talk Dog” through their training program and continuing education, and the facility is fully staffed 24/7/365.

We Talk Dog also uses ProVet Logic for cleaning and sanitizing. All dogs entering for boarding and daycare must undergo a two-hour “Temperament Assessment” to ensure they are a good fit for the facility.

Accomplishments

The trainers at We Talk Dog have decades of training experience, ranging from starting new puppies to handling major aggression cases. Adam Summerford, the owner and trainer, built We Talk Dog with his dogs and clients in mind.

How to Get Started!

To begin training, clients can schedule a free consultation with the training staff to discuss goals and determine the most suitable program. For daycare or boarding services, all dogs must first complete a two-hour temperament assessment, which can be scheduled by calling or emailing. New client paperwork is also available online to fill out.
