Testimonials
Stef is such a wonderful dog trainer, intuitive advice giver and open coach. To just call her a “dog trainer” or “yoga instructor” does not do her justice. She helped my senior GSD regain strength, confidence and balance. Not to mention helping me rekindle her love of working and strengthen my own connection and trust with my dog. And then Stef left her mark on my new puppy, teaching me how to get her on a paddle board and loving the water–and it wasn’t just a paddle board session, it was connecting with other dog lovers who are all there because of Stef’s incredible advice, counsel and leadership. One of my favorite memories this summer was on a paddle where Stef, myself and another client had a deep and meaningful conversation about grief while our dogs played in the water and we could recognize the beauty of our relationships with our animals through the space Stef creates. The name “Tao Dog Wellness” is so very fitting because Stef cares for the total wellness of your dog, your relationship with them and meets them at the life stages they are in with grace and joy.

– Client
I have worked with Stef for over 5 years across three dogs and can confidently say Tao Dog Wellness isn’t your typical dog training program. While we originally sought her out for traditional training, she has helped us with so much more. Stef has a gift for reading dogs (and people) and her approach is both positive and intuitive. Her combination of private training, dog-friendly yoga, hikes and thoughtful group classes creates a well-rounded novel approach to connecting with your dog. My dogs are happier as well as more responsive and balanced since working with Stef. Our third dog proved more challenging than expected and Stef gave us realistic tactics to employ day to day as a busy multi-dog family. Stef is my go-to for all current and future dogs!
