Testimonials

“I recently had the pleasure of entrusting my furry friend to the care of Tarheel Canine, a dog training and boarding facility that truly goes above and beyond in every aspect. From the moment I walked through their doors, I knew my beloved pup was in good hands. The premises are spacious, and thoughtfully designed with dogs in mind. There are separate areas for training, play, and relaxation, ensuring a well-rounded experience for every canine guest. The boarding kennels are comfortable and secure, providing an atmosphere that eased my dog’s transition during the stay. The staff are true dog enthusiasts who demonstrate a genuine love for their furry charges. They are not only highly trained professionals but also compassionate individuals who understand each dog’s unique needs. I appreciated the weekly updates which kept me reassured that my pet was not just a client but a cherished member of their temporary pack. What sets Tarheel Canine apart is their commitment to training. Whether you opt for basic obedience, advanced skills, or behavioral correction, the trainers are skilled at tailoring their programs to suit individual dogs. My pup returned home not only well-rested from the boarding experience but also with improved manners under his collar. Tarheel Canine is refreshingly transparent about their pricing, policies, and services. There were no hidden fees, and their commitment to open communication made the entire process stress-free. The value for the quality of care provided is exceptional. In conclusion, I cannot recommend this company highly enough for anyone seeking top-notch dog training and boarding services. They have set a new new standard in the industry, combining professionalism, compassion, and expertise to create a truly pawsitively outstanding experience for both dogs and their owners. I’ll certainly be returning for all my future dog care needs!”
– Chef James, Jill, and Javen Jones

“We trusted Tarheel Canine with In-Board Training of our very energetic puppy about 1 year ago. Upon completion of the training, his obedience was outstanding, performing well on all major commands. He was actually even happier than when we dropped him off because now he understood the rules and how we should interact as dog and owner. One year later, he is just as obedient as the day we picked him up. Lastly, after completing In-Board Training it is possible to board with Tarheel Canine, and we do so any chance we can get (since training continues throughout!). You will absolutely not be disappointed!”
– Brett

“Tarheel Canine has been an amazing experience for both me and my Rottie! He is a true alpha dog and needed quite a bit of behavioral correction. The team at Tarheel Canine have done exceptional work with his training and have helped me to learn how to reinforce this. I love boarding him there as I know he enjoys being with them and will be well taken cared of. As soon as I get him there, he jumps out of the car and runs in, and I am confident that he is in great hands.”
