“ARF Dog Sports” is a 3-class session introducing agility obstacles, rally, and find-it (tracking/scent) games. Dogs must be at least 4 months old, in good health, rabies vaccinated, on leash, and adult supervised. Orientation information is sent via email before the first class.

“K9 Fitness and Fun” is a 6-class session exploring a variety of dog sports like tracking, agility, rally, team games, and flyball. Dogs must be at least 4 months old, in good health, rabies vaccinated, leash trained, and adult supervised. The first class is an orientation without the dog.

“K9 Intro to Flyball” is a class for high-drive dogs interested in the sport of Flyball, a relay race with dogs, hurdles, a spring box, balls, and toys/treats. This class provides an in-depth look at rules and basic training skills, taught at an individualized, controlled pace due to its high-energy, multi-dog, off-leash nature.

Private lessons are available virtually via Zoom or in-person, covering basic training topics such as puppy training, loose leash walking, sit/stay, and problem-solving. These lessons also include advice on dog nutrition, supplements, and toy/treat recommendations. All classes can be repeated for additional training and fun.

Testimonials

“Thank You for such a fun and informative class. We learned so much about the various dog sports and what is involved if you really want to pursue them. More than that, thanks for all the great tips you gave me on teaching Harley (and me) how to do and not do certain things that we’ve been working on for a long time – unsuccessfully. We’ve made a lot of progress with the new harness and commands you suggested, not using the old training collar we were using, nutritional information you provided along with Tanner’s recipes and fun toys, tricks and helpful hints that we can use at home with him. Although Harley definitely was not Best in Show, he sure came a long way from the first class! We had a blast!”
– Melissa and Harley K9 Fitness & Fun

“Woof wooof arf arfarf woooof woof… Translation: I had a blast! Each week I got to try a new sport and I thoroughly enjoyed them all. I love to learn new tricks and skills so this was right up my alley, besides Mom always pulls out the great treats when we attend classes! If we could do this everyday, I would be VERY happy. Scamp is right, he and I thoroughly enjoyed your K9 Fitness and Fun class. It was wonderful to have an introduction to the many different sports that are available to us. You did an excellent job of presenting each of the sports. Thank you for all the time and energy you put into preparing for each of the classes.”
– Jean and Scamp K9 Fitness & Fun

“Thank You for teaching us how much fun it is to play sports with our dog. We had a great time and now we play at home with Buddy and Pumpkin. We love your teaching style – it showed us how to bond with our dog, rather than our dog only doing it for us.”
