Texas Modern K9s is Veteran Owned and Operated. The head trainer/owner, Tyler, enlisted in the US Army as a Military Police Officer, serving two tours in Iraq and Afghanistan. Tyler attended Platt College, earning an Associate of Science in Veterinary Technology from December 2013 to June 2015. She then attended Starmark Academy for Dog Trainers from February 2016 to April 2016 to expand her knowledge in Canine Training and Behavior. She was a Co-Owner of Berger and Shade K9 Training, LLC “DBA Modern K9s” from June 2016 to September 2018, and has been the Owner of Texas Modern K9s since September 2018.
