Dog Training Methodology
The Canine Training Center offers a variety of dog training programs including Puppy and Basic Obedience, Conformation Show Training, Rally, Agility fundamentals, Advanced Obedience leading to Canine Good Citizen (CGC) certification, and Therapy Dog Training. They also provide Breed Handling and Junior Showmanship classes.
Classes are offered in both preregistered group formats and drop-in options. Private lessons are available by appointment. Additionally, they host clinics, seminars, and a “Camp Best Friends” summer workshop for kids and their dogs.
Pricing & Policies
Pricing Summary
Preregistered group classes cost $185 for 8 one-hour sessions. Drop-in classes are $12 per hour, with an option to purchase a five-class punch card for $50 that has no expiration. These prices were effective as of January 1, 2023.
About the Trainer
The Canine Training Center offers dog training services for all levels, from puppies to adult dogs. Their trainers have lifelong experience in the field. They provide a variety of training classes including Puppy and Basic Obedience, Conformation Show Training, Rally and Agility fundamentals, Advanced Training leading to Canine Good Citizen (CGC) Certification, and Therapy Dog Training.
The center is family-friendly and offers a flexible schedule to accommodate students’ needs. In addition to regular classes, they host Therapy Dog Training Courses, Breed Handling Clinics for both junior handlers and adults, Health Clinics, and Training Parties. They are also home to “Camp Best Friends,” a week-long training day camp specifically designed for kids and their canine companions.
How to Get Started!
Clients can get started by preregistering for group classes or signing up weekly for Rally Run Thrus. Private lessons are available by appointment. Registration forms are available for specific workshops like the Best Friends Kids Summer Workshop.
